How to Join
The Society for Visual Anthropology (SVA) is a section of the American Anthropological Association (AAA).
New members join both the AAA and the SVA at the same time. Membership must be renewed on an annual basis. It includes subscription to Visual Anthropology Review, American Anthropologist, and Anthropology News as well as a host of other membership benefits→.
Individuals who are not members of the AAA may purchase The Visual Anthropology Review → at a cost of $25 per volume.
Remember that membership registration is for AAA and that you must indicate that you wish to join the Society for Visual Anthropology when you are asked to identify a section.
Annual dues are based on membership category (ie. professional, student, etc.) and income scale.
