Public Screening: Salmon People Presentation

The Society for Visual Anthropology welcomes A Presentation of the Salmon People Project in partnership with Children of the Setting Sun Productions. Together, we are hosting a free public screening and dialogue at the SIFF Cinema Egyptian in downtown Seattle, with the intention of broadening awareness, bridging partnerships, and building community through storytelling. We will discuss the decline of salmon and its impact on Indigenous identity, culture, foodways, and environment. Join us on November 10th, 2022, and become an ally to the powerful responsibility of protecting, restoring, and giving voice to the salmon and the Salmon People.
