2010 VRC Call for PresentationsThe SVA Visual Research Conference takes place in the two days prior to the start of the AAA Annual Meeting. Submissions are taken through our own on-line system (see submission form below). The Visual Research Conference is not a paper reading, like the regular AAA meetings. We encourage 30 - 45 minute presentations, discussing research in progress, or recently completed research, that is built on the production or analysis of visual images. The audience is expected to ask questions and discuss the presentation. Much of the presentation should involve visual materials. For more information on the format of this lively event and how to submit a presentation, visit our page on the SVA website or contact Thomas Blakely (tdb5@psu.edu). We are no longer accepting submissions for the 2010 Conference in New Orleans. Presentation Proposal Submission Form Enter your name, affiliation, address, e-mail address, and the nature of the visual material in your presentation (VHS video, computer projection, etc. This is important. If you do not mention in advance that you need computer projection, none will be available.) All submissions to the conference must be made through this form even if you have made prior personal contact with Dr. Blakely.
