The plight of illegal immigrants in America not only involves the continued movement of people across the southern U.S. border, but also the vigorous efforts of legislators to stop this invasion. Oklahoma saw one of the most wide sweeping immigration reform bills pass in 2007 with little resistance from the illegal immigrant population. The goal of this new law is to starve people of jobs, identification, and health care, consequently causing them to leave Oklahoma in search of a new home.
