This documentary is a study of a collaborative project that took place over the course of 6 months between Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Austin, Texas. The community is built on what was formerly a garbage dump for the city. When it rains much of the community floods, forcing the members to wade through contaminated water, evacuate their homes, and consistently live in impermanent situations. Honorable Mention
